Meetings typically run from 1 to 1 ½ hours with the following topics included. Remember to recognize past accomplishments (newspaper features, savings from specific actions, recognition given to team, etc.)

• Updates on sub committees work in progress

Description:
Paper Reduction Team
The team will work closely with the school community to reduce paper usage through various methods such as encouraging online newsletters, reusing paper in classrooms, printing double side, and limiting the number of copies per classroom.
Recycling Team
This team will handle every aspect of recycling such as ordering recycling bins for the campus, and classrooms, promoting recycling through creative skits and editorials, and helping younger children recycle items during lunch and snack time.
Events Team
This team will be responsible to coordinate its efforts with the recycling team to be present at every school event such as the Harvest Fair, the Auction, or Back to School Night to guide all the guests to recycle correctly and effectively.
Green Team Promotion
This group will be in charge of creating and maintaining the roster for the Green Team, monitoring messages to Green team email list, as well as adding contact info to roster and group mailing lists.
Site Team
The Site Team will work with various school groups such as the Student Counsel, the PTA, and teachers to coordinate efforts between the Green Team and other members of the school community and bring greater awareness and cooperation to address sustainable issues.
