Climate Champions: Your Climate, Your Future, Your Voice! Join an international network of young people solving the global climate crisis by taking local action. Apply to become a 2009 California Climate Champion! The California Climate Champions program (http://coolcalifornia.org/climate_hm.html), sponsored by the California Air Resources Board and the British Council, is one of many similar initiatives established in a number of other countries around the world. The goal of the program is to create a network of young people in California who are committed to undertaking projects in their communities that both raise awareness of climate change and actually reduce the pollution that causes climate change.
